Who We Are?
Our Council
Edwardsville Council 1143 holds its meetings and events at The Hall at 7132 Marine Road, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025 about 15 miles northeast of St. Louis, Missouri. It was chartered on July 15th, 1906 — only 24 years after the first Knights of Columbus Council was founded by Fr. Michael J. McGivney at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut. The council’s first Grand Knight and Chaplain were E.C. Ferguson and Reverend C.A. O’Reilly. Its Charter membership consisted of 61 men from local churches.
Most of our members are residents of Edwardsville or Glen Carbon. The Edwardsville Council has over 380 members who put their Faith in Action.

Meeting Information
Council 1143 holds all meetings at the Hall at 7132 Marine Rd , Edwardsville, IL 62025
The monthly General Membership meeting is on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm and the Officers Planning meeting is on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. All members are welcome to both meetings.
Fourth Degree
The Fourth Degree is the Patriotic branch of the Knights of Columbus. Assembly 0225 is the Fourth Degree Assembly of Council 1143.
Assembly meetings are the first Tuesday of the month starting at 7:30 pm. The meetings are held at 7132 Marine Rd in Edwardsville, IL
