Leclaire Parkfest

Each autumn, Council 1143 participates in the Leclaire Parkfest, offering our renowned Italian beef sandwiches, along with hamburgers and bratwursts, to festival attendees.

The proceeds from this event directly support our Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to Father McGivney Catholic High School students and graduates pursuing higher education.

Hops and Heroes

Council 1143, in partnership with the Edwardsville Moose, hosts the annual Hops & Heroes Charity Beer Tasting each August at the Edwardsville Moose Lodge. This distinguished event brings together community members in a spirit of fellowship and philanthropy, offering an enjoyable evening while advancing a meaningful and patriotic cause.

All proceeds from Hops & Heroes directly support the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, an organization devoted to honoring veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Through this program, eligible veterans receive all‑expenses‑paid travel to Washington, D.C., where they visit the memorials established in recognition of their service and sacrifice.

The event stands as a formal expression of gratitude to our nation’s heroes and reflects the Knights’ commitment to charitable service, civic appreciation, and community engagement.

Bourbon Raffle

Each fall, the Edwardsville Knights of Columbus Council 1143 conducts a formal Bourbon Raffle, a limited‑entry fundraising event capped at 300 tickets. More than 20 bottles of premium bourbon are awarded as prizes, making this one of our most anticipated charitable initiatives.

Proceeds from the raffle directly support our various charitable contributions, strengthening our mission of service within the community.
